On second thought…the accreditation pass AND SNEAKERS are a gal’s best friend!

I’ve been doing a lot of running around in the last few days. The first two days I went with graceful high heels. But I soon gave up (pounding the pavement, and tripping along the cement and cobblestones, took it’s toll on my tootsies) and switched to sneakers. 

 One photo at the Hollywood Reporter Reception had me posing on the red carpet steps looking all ladylike-until you look down at the sneakers. I DON’T CARE ANYMORE!!! MY FEETIES ARE COMFY!

 Oh, and you know how a lot of diets suggest small meals all through the day? I am doing it now! I munch on well-catered goodies at all the receptions, and don’t have lunch anymore!

 Do you know what’s worse than a late night of partying? It’s the grueling wait for the taxis after the said partying. In Cannes you must wait at the taxi stands to get a taxi. And they do not come often! You would’ve think the taxi company would seize the ka-ching opportunity to make money, right? Not so!!! This is breaking my poor accountant’s heart. Can you imagine trying to get rid of a certain persistent boy, and can’t even flag down a taxi to escape???

 That’s it for now. A new friend (my new best friend now) got me a ticket for the premiere tonight. I gotta do some girlie make-up and hair magic. A designer is offering women the chance to borrow her products for the red carpet. I am going to give her a call…
