Before Cannes:

FMA participants at Canadian luncheon hosted by Kodak
- “So You’ve Made A Film Now What?†– Five 90 minute workshops conducted by Scarlett Media, via Skype approximately 4 weeks before Cannes. Developed and presented by experts in the field, the workshops  focus on introducing producers to the film market culture, strategies on where to look for “hidden” audiences and how to present a product to international acquisition executives.
- Access to CINANDO cinando.com online database of all delegates and participants of Cannes, including summary of developing and completed projects.
- Pre -registration with Canada Pavilion hosted by Telefilm Canada and provincial art funders.
During Cannes:
- Orientation and preparation meeting with Scarlett Media. (First day of the Festival)
- Accommodation for thirteen (13) nights in an apartment style hotel – Villa Maupassant (see Accommodation section)
- Continental breakfast for the duration of your stay within the program. (Participants are responsible for all other meals.)
- Official 2012 “Marché du Film†accreditation badge. (pending approval).
- Opportunity to register for the Producers Network. (Pending availability. Must have one theatrical release as credit.)
- Access to world premiere screenings among industry delegates.
- Access to exclusive post screenings and/or industry receptions.
- The Marché du Film Guide: 1,000 page listing of all the companies participating in the Festival de Cannes. This guide includes photos and details of each company’s decision makers and projects; companies and producers with films being sold; and a profile of buyers and film rights recently acquired.
- Unlimited internet access.

Note: All participants are expected to cover their airfare to Cannes. Film Market Access does not provide travel grants – we recommend applying for a travel grant from your provincial funding agency to cover some of your expenses.
