The Calling Card program offers similar benefits as the Filmmaker: Complete Access program with the addition of creating a short film while you are attending Cannes.
Working with American filmmakers from the Creative Minds Program thecreativemindgroup.com and Campus Movie Fest you will conceive a creative story, write it, shoot it, edit it and present it to a jury – all within nine days. After nine days your completed work will be presented to a number of delegates attending the festival who will in turn award prizes to the best group in a number of creative categories.
Campus Movie Fest

Free wifi for accredited festival attendees
Campus Movie Fest was created in the year 2000 by students at Emory University and has grown into the world’s largest student film festival. The founders at Ideas United, LLC, have had the privilege of sharing their passion with students around the globe while working with great partnering companies – including AT&T and Apple. Campus Movie Fest is the only event of its kind that provides thousands of students divided into teams, with Apple laptops, camcorders, and training. In addition, hundreds of local musicians provide the best independent music that students have permission to use as their soundtracks. Note: All participants are expected to cover their airfare to Cannes. Film Market Access does not provide travel grants – we recommend applying for a travel grant from your provincial funding agency to cover some of your expenses.
