The red carpet has been ripped from the huge staircase that so many famous faces have slowly climbed in the last 12 days… which also includes FMA participants (Orla, Derek and Louisa) . So the festival has come to close for this year…many plans are underway for 2010. Many buyers have made deals or made a business connection that could become fruitful and so did the FMA participants.

I sense a great satisfaction from those who participated in FMA. I would like to thank each and everyone that made this year more successful than the last. I also want to openly thank Louisa and Derek for blogging their thoughts while in Cannes.

This is just the beginning, there will be many more opportunities to take part in Film Market Access. Over the next couple of months we be launching a partnership with Creative Minds to bring participants to the Toronto International Film Festival. I have one more day here in this beautiful city by the Mediterranean sea and I am about to take advantage of it – I’m heading to the beach before I leave. After all the meetings, receptions, screening, film discussions, and waiting in cue for the theater screenings – I truly believe that I deserve a day at the beach!!!
